I can't believe this is the tenth day into Senior Project, I started at ten this morning and went till three in the afternoon and plan to go from five to eight pm so that totals to eight hours today. My mother and I scheduled a recording session for next Wednesday this morning at seven pm. The guy that we got in touch with has an extremely busy schedule and only has one night available for us so the challenge is to record everything in one night which is why I need to practice so much this week. I have been practicing my songs over and over again to the point where I have actually memorized the lyrics while just looking at the chords on the sheet music. I am very proud of myself for that and on top of that I have been able to play my songs along with the metronome at a steady beat of 140 for the three songs: Since You Said Goodbye, Somehow, and Too Close To The Sun and 165 for Love Me For All That I Am. My plan is to keep practicing till I can play the songs with no mistakes, hopefully by Friday or Saturday so that when I am recording the songs, it will be a little easier for recording everything within one night.
